Re: update database if possible
To support a game, I need to know where it stores it's saves.
If you--or someone else--can provide me with such information, I'll add it to the database.

Re: Can't see saves
Make sure GameSave Manager isn't running and delete the file " ..\bin\games.db ". Now run GameSave Manager as normal. If you're running GameSave Manager from a "protected" directory (such as within the Program Files (x86) directory), you'll likely need to run GameSave Manager wit...

Re: Error: File listings don't match
The error suggests that a file wasn't correctly cached / backed up.
This is likely caused by a filepath using unicode characters (your ™ and ® symbols, for example) or a file was 'locked' when trying to copy it (i.e in use).

Re: Checking entries with space bar doesn't select them
While I understand it's annoying, it's not a priority to fix right now.
Regardless, thank you for the feedback.

Re: Train Simulator 2022
It's likely trying to process a large number of files. Use the /ignore commandline switch to opt to skip the record you're having trouble with.
For example:
For example:
Code: Select all
gs_mngr_3.exe "/ignore Train Simulator 2022"

Re: Scanning for new games takes long time
You can opt to 'skip' a troublesome record from being searched (scanned) for via the "/ignore" commandline. Example: gs_mngr_3.exe "/ignore World of Warcraft" With regards to Age of Empires; if the game itself has been updated in such a way it no longer correctly reads from older...

Re: How to access the game save?
Your backups should be 'readable' on external drives, even USB Flash Drives.
What issues are flagged during the validation check? You can manually extract the data out of the drive via your favourite archiving tool (7zip,WinRAR,WinZip,etc).

Re: Entries by directory location
Currently, there is no way to achieve this in GameSave Manager due to how saves are detected.
You'd have to manually go through the detected records, 'expanding' each to show the directory path(s) detected.
