I've had to take an educated guess as to what <path-to-game> actually is (I've opted to use ..\steamapps\common\Knights of the Temple - Infernal Crusade\... ). Ah sorry about that ! Yes indeed: \steamapps\common\Knights of the Temple - Infernal Crusade\ Name of user is also the name you give ingame ...

Ok so in that save folder were a few saves with Asian characters. Deleted those and it finally processed.
Not sure why it canceled the whole process instead of skipping those particular files tho :/
