Re: Saves Error
I've been playing dark soul 2 for a while and i never encountered saves error. what causes this ,and how to fix it? Save file creation isn't anything to do with GameSave Manager. This project is for backing up, transfering and generally managing your saves. If a game regularly keeps corrupting it's...

Re: Support for multiple Steam Libraries
Sync & Link uses the same scanning results as the Backup feature. The exceptions are (by default) to not list any entry that isn't using the *.* wildcard for Inclusions or has anything specified for Exclusions. With that said, you can overwrite this behaviour via the Sync & Link section of P...

Re: Sync and Link Initialization error occurred
Sync & Link uses the Windows command MKLINK, which requires administrative rights.
Are you running GameSave Manager with full administrative rights?

Re: Runtime Error
The v3.x branch has issues with some character sets. It's something I tried to fix, but never fully got working (something I aim to address fully in v4.x). In any case, have you tried "ignoring" this entry? You can do this via the following commandline: gs_mngr_3.exe "/ignore 8BitBoy?...

Re: Multi-user saves not saved
This is something I'm looking into for v4.x, but it's not quite as easy as you make out. What if the user has set their Documents, AppData or even User Profile directories to a different location? It's a somewhat fringe issue, but still an issue. There's also the problem of backing up registry data ...

Re: Unable to Restore/Recover My Data
There's a couple of things you can try: Disable cloud syncing - The Assassin's Creed franchise uses Uplay's Cloud Sync, this should be disabled in order to use an older save when restoring. Much in the same way Rise of the Tomb Raider uses Steam Cloud. Temporarily disconnect from the internet - Disa...

Re: Changelog for database update 9.2018-02-17_01?
Sad thing is that I am having to do this every single time there is a DB update :/ seems to just always end up throwing the "file not found", doesn't matter if I'm running GSM as admin or not either. All I can suggest is to check your Program Settings, specifically that " Use pre-com...

Re: Scheduled Task doesn't seem to work ;(
From what I recall, the v3.x branch requires Administrative rights to create entries within the Windows Task Scheduler (via schtasks.exe).

Re: Scheduled Task doesn't seem to work ;(
Scheduled Tasks use the Windows Task Scheduler, not the Run registry key that the Task Manager (of Windows 10 at least) has a 'Startup' tab for.
Hold the WinKey on your keyboard and press R. Enter taskschd.msc and press enter.
You should find GSM_ entries here.
