Re: Gamesave Manager Version

The archive could have become corrupt or wasn't generated correctly.
You could try restoring the data (if any) the archive contains manually. Simply open the .gsba file within your favourite archiving tool (7zip, WinRAR, etc).

Try the following: During the Scheduled Task Wizard , make sure the " Backup all detected saves " option is checked (within Step #2) Optionally, you can choose whether to rescan your system and set entries to always ignore for this task via the checkboxes that are now visible On the last s...

Re: Changelog for database update 9.2018-02-17_01?

You can try manually updating.
Download the database using this link and replace your existing games.db file (located in your 'bin' folder) with the one you just downloaded.

Re: List of supported games ?

This project's website was the victim of a third-party intrusion a few months back (around 8th January). Due to this, I decided to reset everything (instead of painstakingly checking each database record and file for malicious entry). Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to re-create everything. Th...

Re: Please add this to the database: Asterix & Obelix XXL

I'm afraid we don't accept the %PROG_FILES_86% variable for entry submission.
You'll need to find a registry key and value that the game (or it's installer) makes and use that.

Re: Farcry 5

Hi there, From what I gather by your wording, you're requesting someone to provide you with their save progress. While we have nothing against this, our community has never really been big on the whole sharing each-others saves (at least here). You might have better luck asking on our Discord server...

Re: User interface won't load

The "scanning" dialog that GameSave Manager displays at startup doesn't have a Taskbar entity associated with it.
Minimise all other programs and launch gs_mngr_3.exe. Do you now see the UI?

Re: Far Cry 5

The last Database Update ended up including a Far Cry 5 entry. As with Ubisoft games as of late, it uses the Uplay 'cloud' service, which is typically the directory that skeeta68 mentioned above. Generally, a Ubisoft game has 3-5 different IDs for this path (regional specific along with Steam versio...

Re: Luxor: doesn't save actually profile files

The project uses user submissions from it's own community for save locations. Ontop of this, each release of a game doesn't always use the same save path for some silly reason. For example, a GOG release of a game may store their saves in Documents while the Steam release may store them in AppData\R...

Re: GameSave Manager won't load - stuck on Subnautica

You can also opt to skip scanning an entry by using the following commandline:

Code: Select all

"/ignore EntryTitle"
Simply replace EntryTitle with the title of the entry you wish to no longer scan for.
