AC origin

Place to manually submit your Custom Gamesave Entries for Official Entry status.
Alternatively, submit them within GameSave Manager directly (just tick the "Yes, I'd like to share this entry" option at the end of the wizard).

AC origin

Post by manu400 »

Hello guys. I needed to reinstall my windows so I saved my game saves using this game save manager, and the only problem i had was on Ac origins. The backup task worked perfectly, so does the restore task, but my game aint reading my saves. I tried pretty much anything and still the same result. I tend to specify that the game is CPY version.
Does anyone have any solution for this ?

Cracked / pirated / scene / whatever-you-wish-to-call-it releases typically don't save to the same location as their legitimate counterparts.
We do not willingly / knowingly search paths that are specific to non-legitimate copies of a game. Having said this, we do not prevent you from making a Custom GameSave Entry for your own personal use. We just wont include it in a Database Update if such entries are submitted to us.

From what you've said, I'm guessing that only your preferences / configurations (graphics, key bindings, etc) were backed up while your saves were stored elsewhere.
As a last ditch effort, you could try opening the .gsba file in your favourite archiving tool to see if your saves are within it. Beyond this, I'm afraid there's nothing else that can be done.

Sorry I can't help any further.

The files that appear when i open the .gsba are the exact same with the ones that get restored, and yes the new saves that i make are different from the ones that i saved. Interesting that wasnt the only ubisoft game that i backed up but the only one that didnt work
