Recovering save from 4.0 version

Hello, there.

A few months ago I started using the 4.0 alpha that was available for a while and made several backups. I've since restaged my computer and attempted to restore one save I had not copied over but neither the latest 3.0 build nor the 4.0 one seem to recognize it.

Is there any way I can restore it?

You can download the 4.0.090 Alpha here.
Alternatively, open your .gsba file(s) within your favourite archiving tool and extract manually.

Thanks, Matt. I feel very stupid indeed. I thought the saves were stored in a different format.
