The save entry for this game is wrong on the wiki. At least for the Steam version it's:

%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Wesnoth_<version>\saves\

the current settings result in extremely long search times for the game. I assume the programm finds the game folder at some point and saves it comletely, which also includes mods and cache files (almost 600MB in my case). The actual save files are only 23MB in my case.

Changes made; GameSave Manager will only target the subfolder 'saves' from now on.
